IMC Beta Update on 10/25/2017
The IMC Beta has been updated to include the following features/functionality:
- TDS Authorizations: If no TDS PIN is required this field will be disabled. See KB417 for details.
- TDS Description: A manage link was added to the Accounts Settings screen that allows admins to modify the description that is displayed in the IMC. See KB951 for details.
- View All Properties: There is a link to view all properties for a job. This will display the majority of properties that we have for the job. See KB428 for details.
- Schedule Transcriptionist Removal: A new link is available next to the transcriptionist role on the user settings page. This will allow you to schedule the removal of an ITC license, Transcriptionist Role, or User. See KB957 for details.
- Add Existing User: The IMC will now handle situations where an Admin is attempting to add a user with an eMail address that already exists in another Account. on the platform. See KB950 for details.
- Copy Facility Contact Info: When copying a facility there is now an checkbox to indicate that you would like to copy the contact information as well. See KB621 for details.
- DDS Instructions Filtering: The filtering options on the DDS Instructions page have been expanded and a filter for the method (Fax, FTP, etc) has been added. See KB242 for details.
- Facility Settings:
- Locations: One or more Locations (Departments) can be configured within a Facility to to control workflow, billing, and user access at that level. Once a location is created under a facility, jobs created under the facility can then be assigned to the location (a job can only belong to a single location). See KB956 for details.
- Industry: Facility Settings now includes a drop list to specify the facility's industry. This designation will determine associated labels in he InfraWare Dictation for iOS application and the Secure Web Portal according to the type of industry. For example, Medical facilities will use Patient-centric labeling such as MRN, whereas a Legal facility will reference Case #. New and existing facilities will be designated as Medical. See KB965 for steps and details.
- Allow Fax on Demand: This setting allows an Administrator to disable Fax On Demand from the Secure Web Portal. The setting defaults to on (i.e., allow faxing) and will only be observed in the new Secure Web Portal. See KB954 for details.
- The Downloads page has been updated to point the installation link for the new InfraWare Dictation Client (IDC). (KB218)
Secure Web Portal Update 10/25/2017
- Web Upload: Users of the Secure Web Portal can upload an audio file from their computer. See KB963 for details.
- Location: Locations set up within a Facility are now observed in the Secure Web Portal. See KB956 for details.
- TXT Download Option: Plain-text download is now supported from the Job Properties screen or from the Queue.
ITC Production version 7.1.2.2 updated on 6/27/2017 and includes the following features/functionality/changes:
- EHR Verified Production (EVP): See KB947 for details on this feature, which is being tested internally. Updates to the following to accommodate this new feature:
- ITC Job Card
- ITC Editor
- ITC Quick Type
- Address Book Prefix/Suffix: The ITC will now try to be intelligent about when to use the prefix and suffix when inserting from the Address Book. If a prefix and suffix are both specified for a contact then the ITC will look to see if the suffix is "jr, sr, iii, iv, or v". If that is the case then the ITC will insert the name with both the prefix and suffix (e.g., Mr. Jim Smith, Jr); if that isn't the case then the ITC assumes that the suffix is a credential and will not include the prefix (e.g., Jim Smith, M.D. instead of the prior behavior of Dr. Jim Smith, M.D.) Details have been added to KB875.
- Formatted/Unformatted Normals: See KB929 for details.
- Restore a Previous Version: See KB941 for details.
- Additional columns have been added to the Addendum (KB244) and Similar Jobs (KB289) search screens.
- ADT Screen:
- Global Documents (KB626) and Similar Jobs (KB289) can now be accessed from the ADT screen.
- New shortcuts and hot keys have been added to the ADT window:
- Next section (Ctrl + N) and Prior section (Ctrl + Shift + N) now include the selected UDF's
- Ctrl + Shift + N will select previous section
- Alt + Shift + A will select the ADT tab
- Alt + Shift + U will select the UDF tab
- Alt + 0-9 will select the UDF tab and then set focus on the matching UDF text field (0 will match to UDF10) if these fields are made active by an Administrator (KB290).
- Alt + Shift + 1-5 will set focus in the User-defined Date Fields on the User-defined fields tab.
- Note: The calendar control for the field will receive focus. The MT can press 'Space' to toggle the selection, and then use the right-arrow to modify the date components.
- Quick Type - QT will now be evaluated when the user types a hyphen or closing parenthesis. KB186
- Silence Skip: Dictation will now go through a process that will attempt to detect periods of silence (where there is no dictation in the audio file). If this process is successful you can enable automatic skipping of silence in the ITC Function Panel, Audio (F2) tab. Pressing Shift + F12 will toggle this setting. See KB948 for details.
- Waveform: As a compliment to Silence Skip, the ITC will now display the waveform (graphical representation of the audio) as a sub-tab under the Audio (F2) tab. As playback occurs, the red arrow at the bottom will indicate the current audio position. The MT can also use their mouse to click on the waveform to skip to a desired location. The waveform is displayed by clicking the sub-tab highlighted in the first image below, or by pressing Ctrl + F2 (pressing F2 will continue to display the regular Audio Control sub-tab).
IMC Production Update 6/16/2017
All changes previously published in IMC Beta on 6/8/17 have been published to our main IMC Production site.

- Download Settings: (KB934) Download Settings was previously a standalone page at Delivery -> Download Settings. This was not convenient for users to find and did not allow multiple facilities to be updated at once. Therefore, we move this setting to the Facilities Setting page, exposed it on the edit multiple facilities page, and updated the existing Delivery -> Download Settings page to explain that it has been moved to facility settings, along with a link to open the page.
- Copy Facility: (KB621) When copying a facility, the user will now be presented a pop-up to specify the name that should be used for the facility, as well as whether the original facility's Document Types should be copied. If the DocTypes are copied, the Document Categories and TAT settings for the doc types will also be copied. All new doc types will have their templates set to blank.
- First Draft Translations (KB936)
- Bug Fixes:
- Edit Document Type - The facilities default TAT for STAT jobs was not populating previously. It was being filled with the normal TAT value.
- Job Properties - Users will be asked if they'd like to proceed prior to the platform removing an addendum.
- Pay / Billing Models - users will receive a warning if they attempt to switch from an advanced to a basic model.
