ITC Production Update v7.4.2.1 in January 2024

ITC Production v7.4.2.1 January, 2024

  • Improved security with the requirement of .NET 4.8 framework
  • Improved logging
  • Minor bug fixes

ITC Production 7.2.2.1

ITC Production version 7.2.2.1 has been released and includes the following features/changes previously available in ITC Beta:

  • Shift + F3 (Toggle Case) enabled in headers and footers (KB168)
  • Auto-save - Disable after 3 consecutive failures instead of after the first.
  • When inserting a normal with Ctrl + N you will see the hotkey in the menu.  Pressing that key will select that option.
  • Ctrl + E to Center - Ctrl + E will now toggle the current paragraph or selection's alignment between centered and left-justified.
  • Insert Page Number - While in a header or footer, the menu Insert -> Page Number will insert Page # (where # is the page number template field) at the cursor location.
  • Find Word Count -  When using find, a count will now be displayed after each search.  The count will show as "50+ found" if we find more than 50 matches (this should limit the impact of scanning large documents).
  • Quick Type:
    • Two Word Quick Type Shortcuts - The ITC will now attempt to look at the previous two words when evaluating Quick Type shortcuts.  Preference will be given to matching the last word, but if no match is found for the last word, the combination of the last two words will be considered.  For example if you had two shortcuts: "my em" and "em" and then typed "my em" followed by a space, the ITC would expand the "em" Quick Type and not the "my em" entry. The primary example for this request is adding "doe snot" to expand to "does not".  Each entry will need to be added to QuickType.  Example:  "doe snot" expanded out to "does not".
    • Manage QuickType - A new menu entry under Insert -> QuickText has been added.  The shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + F3.  This shortcut will bring up the settings form with the QuickType tab selected.  This feature will work the same way that adding new QuickType entries worked.  It can also be used as a shortcut to bring up the settings page if needed.
    • Add QuickType - If you attempt to add a QuickType that already exists, the previous popup error message is replaced with a form that will inform the user that an existing entry exists and show them what is already defined.  The user can choose to overwrite it or cancel; if they cancel, they will be returned to the prior form where they can adjust the shortcut if desired.
    • Improved QuickType performance.
    • Ctrl + Alt + Space - This shortcut was added to prevent the ITC from expanding a Quick Type entries on demand (if you do not want them to expand).
    • Changed MT labels to "Tx" or "Transcriptionist"
    • Auto-Capitalization:
      • INitial caps correction:  The ITC will attempt to detect when the first 2 letters of a word are capitalized.  This logic will be evaluated as part of the auto-capitalization feature, which means that turning that option off in user settings will also disable this new logic.
      • Ctrl + Alt + Space - This shortcut was added to prevent the ITC from evaluating auto-capitalization.
    • Bug Fixes:
      • Copy/Paste in Header not Working -  Bug fix for issue that prevented copy from firing while in header or footer.
      • Removed extra QA Marks column from Job Search.

IMC, Secure Web Portal, and EHR Web Portal Updates

IMC, Secure Web Portal, and EHR Web Portal Updates

Changes previously published in IMC Beta, Secure Web Portal Beta, and EHR Portal Beta have now been moved to Production sites.  Details below:

    IMC & Secure Web Portal

    • Billing Report - When running the Normal Billing Report, there is now an option to expose the additional precision that we carry for each job's "Amount".  In other words, if you check the new setting, you will see 4 digits after the decimal place (instead of 2) for each job's amount values (Total Amount, Non-STAT Amount, and STAT Amount).  The summary amounts remain at 2 points of precision.  See KB986 for detail on how rounding is handled and KB518 for the Billing Report.
    • Addenda - When searching by job number on the Addenda page, we will now perform a contains match (.e.g., "*1234*").  This will allow people to not specify the full job number when searching.  See KB575 for details on how to find Addenda in the IMC.
    • Author Activity Report - A new report has been developed to show how many jobs and minutes of dictation each author performs during a given period.  By default, this report will include all authors, regardless of whether they submitted dictation during the period or not.  However, there is a setting to only include active or inactive authors.  (KB988
    • Compare Activity Report - Adjusted report to display the selected dates for each period being compared, as oppose to just "Period 1" and "Period 2".  Note: This change is also present in the production IMC.
    • Bug Fix:  ID Column - For some users, the queue was displaying the ID (dictationID) value for each job.  This has been fixed and will no longer display.

EHR Web Portal (old Portal site)

Password Reset Bug Fix - When generating the random confirmation code used when a user forgets their password, the process was failing if the random code included a non-alphanumeric character.  This has been corrected.

    IMC Beta Updated

    IMC Beta Updated

IMC Beta has been updated with the following changes/features:  https://beta.infraware.com/IMC

    • Disable STAT Changes in Portal - New facility setting, which will be observed in the Secure Web Portal to prevent facility users from opening a job in the Portal and tagging it as STAT unnecessarily.  See KB984 for details.
      image.png

    • FD Tuning - FD Translations link was not visible in certain circumstances.  This has been corrected.
    • IMC Statuses - Job statuses that are not used on the platform have been hidden from Quick Search and Saved Search.  Hidden:
      Ready for reprocessing
      Reprocessing download started
      Checked out for reprocessing
      QA marked up for corrections
      Sign off download started
      Sign off reviewing
      Sign off marked up
    • IMC Normals Search - When searching by Author, the results were not excluding Normals that did not apply to an author.  This lead to confusion because the filtering didn't appear to work. This has been corrected to improve the user experience.
    • Template Selection Filtering -  When selecting Template, allow user to toggle whether templates drop list should only show FD enabled templates.  The check box will be visible if one or more authors has the doc type enabled for FD.  If both the doc type and the template are FD enabled then the check box will be checked; if the template isn't FD enabled then the check box will be unchecked.  The filtering would remove the non-FD template actually assigned to the doc type, and would instead display the first template in the list.
    • Password Reset - After a user goes through the forgotten password process, they will be required to reset their password at login.
    • Transcriptionist Settings -  When a value on the Transcriptionist Settings page doesn't pass validation, the error message will now appear as a pop-up message as well as an error label on the page.  People were overlooking the text on the screen.
    • QA Queue - Added refresh button and two new columns: Facility and Document Type.
    • Job Properties - On the Completion tab, added a new 'QA Scoring' section.  This will display the QA Scores entered for the job.
      image.png
    • QA Marks Report - New report which displays all QA Marks entered by Transcriptionists.  The user can filter by facility, Transcriptionist, and date range.  A link for this report was added at the top of the QA Scoring page.  KB985image.png
    • Billing and Pay Export - On both the Pay and Billing report pages, 'Export All Details' was added as a report type.  This will utilize the same logic as the Billing and Pay reports, and then export a tab delimited file containing all of the customer appropriate data that we currently return from the database.  KB518 for Billing and KB627 for Pay Report.

    ITC Production Update

ITC Production update v7.1.2.3 with the following changes previously available in ITC Beta:

    • Locations (KB956) added to:
      • Blank job creation, job duplication, and job properties screens.
      • Search criteria and results.
      • ADT Search results.
      • Similar Jobs results.
      • Job Info panel in Editor.
    • Save Without Advancing - 'Assign to Me' option (KB245)
    • Foot Pedal App Settings:  On the Login screen click Administration and then go to the USB Pedals tab:
      • Option to swap the FF and RW buttons on the foot pedal.  This was added to application settings, which are accessed from the login page.
      • Option for Tap to Play.  ITC will begin playing on pedal down, but won't pause when the pedal is released; instead, the pedal would need to be pressed again to pause.
      • Updated dictionary
    • Job Search:  Added MRN and Account # columns to Job Search results.
    • Auto Capitalization:  Now also triggered by pressing TAB. (KB204)
    • Tables: Pressing TAB while in the last cell of a table will add a new row and move your cursor to the first column of the new row.  (KB803)
    • Quick Type: (KB186)
      • Quick Type shortcuts can now end with punctuation marks (e.g., "qt;").
        • NOTE:  Putting punctuation marks inside of the shortcut is not supported.
      • Quick Type is now also triggered by pressing TAB.
      • Quick Type will expand when the shortcut is enclosed in quotes (e.g., "mqt" would expand the mqt shortcut when the closing quote is typed).
    • Superscript Ordinal Indicators:  New user setting which defaults to off.  When turned on, the ITC will automatically superscript the ordinal indicator (e.g., the "rd" in 3rd).  This will happen when the user hits space and the ITC finds one of the indicators (st, nd, rd, th) preceded by text that evaluates as an integer. (KB981)
    • Hyphenation:  Pressing Ctrl + Alt + H will trigger the hyphenation of the selected text or word currently under the cursor (same behavior as the upper/lower case feature).  This will convert a word like HYPHEN to H-Y-P-H-E-N.  The cursor will then be placed at the end of the hyphenated text.  (See KB168 for all Keyboard Shortcuts)
    • Auto rewind:  The user setting to auto-rewind audio now allows for decimal values to be entered.  (KB96)
    • Rewind / FF Speed:  New ITC user setting to define how quickly FF and REW should be.  This defaults to 1, which basically means that each cycle of the timer handling the rew/ff process will increment the position by 1 second.  Any decimal value above 0 and less than or equal to 30 is valid (e.g., 0.2 would slow the rate down, 5 would increase it).  (KB982)
    • Production Units:  When a job is QA'd in a Production Unit (PU) and released the platform will look at the QA Mark.  If a QA Mark is found then the platform will look to see if there is a QA Requirement that already applies, and if not, the QA Editor of last resort will be authorized to QA the job in the MA (this logic matches how the platform behaves when a QA Mark is added during transcription). (KB779)

    Misc bug fixes:
    • Reversed the FF and REW pedal images in the F2 panel so that they are oriented correctly.
    • QA Marks (Bug Fix) - ITC would crash or enter infinite loop when attempting to add a QA Mark to a field at the end of the document.  This was due to the ITC looking for a valid position to add its closing tag, but never finding one because the template field was already using the last position.  This version will display an error message indicating that the QA Mark couldn't be added, and will also mention that the error is often caused by the selected word existing at the end of the document.
    • When pasting into table cells.  Previously, after pasting into a cell, the cursor would move to the start of cell instead staying at the end of the pasted content.
    • Silence detection with long dictations

    • Auto Capitalization:  Now also triggered by pressing TAB. (KB204)
    • Tables: Pressing TAB while in the last cell of a table will add a new row and move your cursor to the first column of the new row.  (KB803)
