ITC & IMC Updates

InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) Inactivity Timeout:  ITC Beta v7.3.1.25 and ITC Production v7.3.2.3 include a new feature to monitor the ITC for inactivity.  This account-level feature allows an Administrator to determine when the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) will automatically set the ITC Worker Status to "....and Not Ready for new jobs"  when it has been idle/inactive for a specified length of time.  See KB1009 for details on this new feature.

The following InfraWare products have been updated: 

Secure Web Portal

The Login page has a fresh new design.  No functionality was changed in this update.  

ITC Beta and ITE Beta 

ITC Beta v7.3.1.23 and ITE Beta v7.3.1.5 were updated to observe new template fields as follows: 

ITC Beta v7.3.1.23 was also updated to include the ability to Save QuickType entries in a format that can be imported into SpeedType.  See KB186 for details on QuickType.

 ITC Beta v7.3.1.20 Update

The ITC Beta has been updated to include the following features and functionality:

• New Keyboard Shortcuts:
• Ctrl + Alt + Period to insert an ellipse " ... " Will insert ... at the cursor.  Should detect if a leading space is required. 
• Ellipse will not trigger auto cap for the word that follows it.
• Select word for case functions:  There has been a change to the way these shortcuts work.  Lowercase & Uppercase shortcuts previously required you to select the word(s) before using the shortcut.  They will now work for the word in focus (if the cursor is anywhere in a word). If you select multiple words and use the shortcut it will be done for all text selected.
  
  Capitalize First letter of the highlighted word = Ctrl + /
  LowerCase = Ctrl + Comma
  UpperCase = Ctrl + Period
  
  
• Multi-speaker page - Shortcuts - This applies only to multi-speaker jobs, a feature which is being tested internally by InfraWare.
• Alt + K to open the speaker page 
• Alt + 1, Alt + 2, Alt +3, Alt + 4, Alt + 5 will toggle the corresponding checkbox (if visible) and set the focus in the text field.  When disabling the checkbox will be given focus.  On form load, the focus is set to the first label text field. 
  
  
  
  
  
• Spell Check Dictionary Changes to remove incorrect words
• QuickType/Auto-Capitalization Changes:  
• If Quick Type is triggered by a period, question, or exclamation mark and there is no space before the next word then we will insert spaces after the punctuation mark and then auto cap trailing word: 
  
  
  
  
  
• Similar to the item above, except that the requirement for a Quick Type expansion has been removed.  This means that if you begin typing to the left of existing text (without a space) and then enter a period, question, or exclamation mark, the ITC will insert spaces and consider auto-cap:

IMC Beta Update

IMC Beta has been updated with the following feature(s): https://beta.infraware.com/IMC

IMC Beta, ITC Beta, and ITC Production have been updated

Updates have been deployed to the following InfraWare products. 

• IMC Beta was updated:  
• Facility Settings -> ADT Customization.  User-defined Dates are now selectable for the 5 fields to display on main ADT page.  
  NOTE:  This will require an ITC Beta version 7.3.1.13 or newer in order to display on the main ADT page of the ADT screen.  
  
  
• ITC Production v7.3.2.1 was updated to include the following features from ITC Beta:

• Advanced Audio Effects:  The new Audio Advanced Options are located on the F2 (Audio) tab.  Clicking this will open the Audio Effects window. See KB990 for details.
• Hyphenation:  Improvements to the logging/handling when the Hyphenation shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + H) is used. 
• ITC Spell Check Dictionary:  Removed artefact, iff, iffier, iffiest, iffiness, iffy, iffyness, Oraeta
• ITC Beta v7.3.1.13 was published and includes the following features previously available in ITC Alpha:
• ADT Screen - Main ADT Tab can now display UDF Date fields set up in the IMC - Facility Settings -> ADT Customization (See KB290 for details).

IDC Beta & Production Update

InfraWare Dictation Client (IDC) Beta v7.1.1.6 and Production v7.1.2.4 were released with minor bug fixes for back-end processes.  Both will automatically update when the program is launched.
